Social media takes time and planning. It was a while back when you could post random pictures at whatever time you wanted without intention behind it. In today’s blog post I’ll be sharing apps that will help when it comes to your social media.
These days if you want to elevate your social media marketing and reach your goals it takes planning, expertise, and time.
We all know a dental office can be hectic, running around patient after patient. Managing a team, ordering supplies and so much more. Yes, it can definitely be hectic.
But just because you are busy and running doesn’t mean your social media accounts have to suffer. That’s when planning your content, putting effort and time behind your social media is pivotal. Social media is a marketing tool it needs a strategy and preparation behind it.
One way to stay on top of your social media accounts is by scheduling your content ahead of time. There are amazing apps that help schedule, plan and make sure you achieve a cohesive and branded feed.
FOR EDITING PICTURES
- *I use Lightroom: It’s very comprehensive. It allows you to be in control of colors, textures and everything you need.
Lightroom has a mobile and desktop version. The mobile version is free and great to start learning about editing.
TIP: create your own preset in lightroom. It will help and ensure you have a cohesive feed.
- VSCO: if you are not very knowledgeable when it comes to editing, VSCO is a great alternative. It comes with presets/filters that allow you to just select one and it’s all done for you.
Other apps:
- Snapseed
- Afterlight
FOR SCHEDULING INSTAGRAM CONTENT
- Planoly and Tailwind: they are both great apps for managing, planning and scheduling content. They are also listed Instagram partners. Which means that Instagram approved of this platform to use for scheduling. Tailwind is as of right now the only scheduling tool that allows you to place the hashtags in the comment section.
FOR CREATING GRAPHICS, POSTERS AND INSTAGRAM STORIES
- Unfold and canva: are amazing platforms to use for creating graphics, posters, banners or stories for both Instagram and Facebook. Great for creating branded content it gives you the opportunity to be creative and to use your brand colors.
When it comes to scheduling Facebook posts, you can do that in the platform. You don’t need an app.
Start trying out these different apps. You will find what works for you and your team.
